The People´s Deputies adopted the budget policy guidelines for 2012 based on the Economic Reforms Program for 2010-2014 "Wealthy Society, Competitive Economy, Effective State", the Annual Address of the President of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "Modernization of Ukraine is our Strategic Choice", and the Concept of the State Program of Economic and Social Development of Ukraine for 2012 ratified by the Cabinet of Minister of Ukraine.
Under the budget policy guidelines, the goal of the budget policy is arrangement of a favourable macroeconomic environment, implementation of consistent and effective measures in the fiscal sector, stability of state finances, high rates of economic growth due to economic modernization and enhancement of its competitive ability, formation of the budget for 2012 on the principle of a middle-term budget planning with distinct fiscal and outlay goals.
Under the Resolution, the Cabinet of Ministers shall bring forward the bill on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2012 with account for the Budget Policy Guidelines for 2012.
